Gayatri Mantra
I still remember
My first day
In Andhra School
In first class
The principal
Came to the class and asked -
'Who knows Gayatri Mantra?'
The whole class was silent but
I raised my hand,
Then stood up and
Recited Gayatri Mantra to everyone.
Everyone clapped,
It's music is still
Fresh in the ears.
