क्त एवं क्तवतु
ये दो प्रत्यय भूतकाल में प्रयुक्त होते हैं। क्त का त तथा क्तवतु का तवत् शेष रहता है।
जाना, चलना अर्थ की और अकर्मक धातुओं से क्त प्रत्यय होने पर कर्ता में प्रथमा व कर्म में द्वितीया विभक्ति होती है।
उदाहरणार्थ- सः गृहं गतः। सः आगतः। सः सुप्तः। सः मृतः।
सकर्मक धातुओं में क्त प्रत्यय होने पर कर्ता में तृतीया व कर्म में प्रथमा विभक्ति होती है। क्रिया का लिंग, वचन, विभक्ति कर्म के अनुसार होगी न कि कर्ता के अनुसार।
अकर्मक धातुओं से क्त प्रत्यय होने पर कर्ता में तृतीया व क्रिया में नपुंसक लिंग एकवचन होता है।
क्त प्रत्ययांत शब्द, कर्म के अनुसार पुलिंग हो तो राम के समान, स्त्रीलिंग हो तो रमा के समान और नपुंसक लिंग हो तो धन जैसे रूप चलेंगे।
उदाहरणार्थ- उसने काम किया।

शायद अप्रैल का महीना था। हवा में वसंत की ख़ुश्बू अभी तैर रही थी। रात के सन्नाटे में सिर्फ पेड़ो के हिलने की आवाज़ मेरे कानों से गुज़र रही थी। मैं अस्पताल के बिस्तर पर लेटा हुआ था। पलकें नींद से भारी थी लेकिन मैं सो नहीं पा रहा था। अस्पताल का पहला दिन आज भी ज़ेहन में ताज़ा है। मुझे सुबह के वक़्त OPD में दिखाया गया था। सरकारी विशेषज्ञ ने मुझे इस अस्पताल के लिए रेफेर कर दिया था। एक लम्बे गलियारे में , मैं इक स्ट्रेचर पर लेटा हुआ था। एक बुजुर्ग डॉक्टर मेरी जाँच कर रहा था। उसका जाँच करने का तरीका काफी अजीबो ग़रीब था। वह अपने

Dear friends , Today's Board meeting was attended by - Rudra , Afsana , Mehreem , Savita and Indu Kant . There was a long discussion about the resuming of current semester which was stopped for some valid reasons. Director of UMRAN Mr Rajeev has done a great job by forming UMRAN and giving an opportunity to all of us to learn foreign languages free of cost , just after paying a meagre amount of registration . Undoubtedly , a lot of work is performed at backend , so much labour and logistics are arranged by UMRAN just to benefit us . We should highly appreciate the community based model of learning foreign languages .UMRAN provides us international exposure too , so we should respect the values of UMRAN and follow it's rules , regulations and policies . We should not forget that UMRAN is also working for women empowerment at grassroot levels. Economically deprived women and children are being provided free education . My purpose of mentioning all this is that we should respect UMRAN values and should not take the things granted . I had a long discussion with Mr Rajeev regarding resuming of current session. Rajeev Sir has agreed to resume classes of current session but with the condition that Board should ensure the smooth and successful completion of not only this session but also next semester. This semester will become valid only after the successful completion of next semester and ongoing labour by the Board to sustain the thrust . Hope it clears . Will have another urgent meeting tomorrow i.e. 29-6-2025 @ 8 pm . Ensure all should join this meeting in time . Warm regards - Indu Kant

But in the meeting Rudra relaxed a little by saying that certificates will be provided after completion of next semester however if the certificate is required for some Job etc then after checking the authenticity,it may be issued.

बछिया का लड्डू
चौधरी साहिब की गाय ने बछिया को जन्म दिया तो चौधरी साहिब ख़ुशी से फूले न समाये। पूरे गाँव में लड्डू बाँटे जा रहे थे । नुक्कड़ पर चंद लोग फुसफुसा रहे थे।
- ' कमाल है यार , अभी पिछले महीने जब चौधरी साहिब की बहु ने लड़की को जन्म दिया था , तब तो चौधरी साहिब का मुँह लटक गया था और अब बछिया के जन्म पर लड्डू बाँट रहे हैं। ' गोबर ने पूछा था।
- ' अरे इतना भी नहीं समझते क्या , बछिया बड़ी होकर दूध देगी जबकि लड़की को पढ़ाओ , लिखाओ , खिलाओ , पिलाओ और एक दिन बड़े दहेज के साथ किसी बैल के घर बाँध आओ। यानी नुक्सान ही नुक्सान। ' बुजुर्ग ने समझाया।
-' सही कह रहे हो भाई , कलयुग है और इस कलयुग में इंसानों की औकात जानवरों से भी कम है। ' कहते हुए गोबर ने चौधरी साहिब के लड्डू से अपना मुँह भर लिया।

क़त्ल उसका मेरा या तुम्हारा नहीं
क़त्ल हम सब का किया है।
ग़ज़ल के दोष
वर्तमान में ग़ज़ल कहने वालों की बाढ़ आ गई है। जिसे देखिये वही ग़ज़ल को सबसे सरल विधा समझकर बिना अरुज जाने बूझे जोर आजमाइस कर रहा है। परिणामस्वरूप ग़ज़लें बहर से ख़ारिज तो होती ही हैं साथ ही उनमें दोष भी होते हैं। ग़ज़ल कहते समय हमें निम्नलिखित दोषों से बचना चाहिये।
1. कर्ता,क्रिया,कर्म आदि का अपने स्थान पर न होना।
जैसे - कहा बन्दे से तू संभल जा खुदा ने
नहीं तो बुरा हश्र होगा किसी दिन
इसमें ऊला मिसरा में कर्ता,क्रिया,कर्म कोई भी अपने स्थान पर नहीं है। अतः इस शेर में दोष है। इस दोष को उर्दू में ताक़ीदे - लफ़्जी कहते हैं।
इसे यूँ कहा जा सकता है-
खुदा ने कहा बन्दे से तू संभल जा
नहीं तो बुरा हश्र होगा किसी दिन
इस प्रकार कर्ता,क्रिया,कर्म आदि सभी ने अपना स्थान ले लिया है।
2. किसी शेर में किसी शब्द की कमी होना या क्रिया अपूर्ण होना भी शेर के दोष में गिना जाता है। इसे हज़्फे़ लफ़्ज कहा जाता है।
जैसे - ‘‘रात दिन सब एक ही धुन में लगे’’
उपरोक्त पंक्ति में ‘‘है’’ की कमी खटक रही है। क्रिया अपूर्ण है अतः इसको इस प्रकार से दुरुस्त कर हज़्फ़े लफ़्जी दोष को दूर किया जा सकता है।
‘‘रात दिन सब एक ही धुन में लगे हैं।’’
3. दो बेमेल चीजों को या बातों को मिलाना भी शेर के दोष हैं। इसे ऐबे शुतुरगर्बा कहते हैं। शुतुर का अर्थ है ऊँट और गर्बा का अर्थ है बिल्ली अर्थात ऊँट के गले में बिल्ली बाँधना।
जैसे - तू अब बाहर निकल आ अपने घर से
तुम्हे भी जुल्म से लड़ना पड़ेगा
उपरोक्त शेर में पहली पंक्ति में ‘‘तू’’ आया है और दूसरी पंक्ति में ‘‘तुम्हे’’ आया है। यहाँ ‘‘तू’’ के साथ में ‘‘तुम्हे’’ का प्रयोग न होकर ‘‘तुझे’’ का प्रयोग होना चाहिये।
दूसरा उदाहरण देखिये -
गुनाह हमसे हुये हैं हज़ारहा ‘‘आमिल’’
हरीमे नाज़ में लेकिन मिरी रसाई है।
यहाँ पहली पंक्ति में ‘‘हमसे’’ आया है जबकि दूसरी पंक्ति में ‘‘मिरी’’ का प्रयोग शायर पे किया है। यहाँ ‘‘हमसे’’ के संदर्भ में ‘‘हमारी’’शब्द आयेगा। ‘‘मिरी’’ का प्रयोग करके शायर ने अनजाने में शुतरुगर्बा को दोष शेर मे ला दिया है परन्तु ‘‘मिरी’’ के स्थान पर ‘‘हमारी’’ शब्द का प्रयोग करने से शेर बहर से खारिज़ हो जावेगा। अतः ‘‘मिरी’’ के संदर्भ में ऊपर के मिसरे में ‘‘हमसे’’ की जगह ‘‘मुझसे’’ को लाना पड़ेगा।
4. जब दो समान अक्षर इस प्रकार पास पास आ जावे कि उनका उच्चारण बाधित हो अर्थात प्रवाहपूर्ण उच्चारण न हो तब शेर में एक प्रकार का दोष उत्पन्न हो जाता है। इसे ऐबे तनाफ़ुर कहते हैं।
जैसे
ज़हर मिलता ही नहीं मुझको सितमगर वरना
क्या क़सम है तिरे मिलने की कि खा भी न सकूँ
उपरोक्त शेर में ‘‘की कि खा’’ वाला भाग प्रवाह के साथ नहीं पढ़ा जा रहा है। अतः यह दोष ऐबे तनाफुर कहलायेगा।
5. कभी - कभी शेर को बहर मे रखने के लिये अनावश्यक शब्दों को रूई की तरह ठूस-ठूस कर शेर में भरते हैं। इस ऐब को ‘हश्व’ कहते हैं।
जैसे - अक्सर ये मेरा ज़ह्न भी थक जाता है लेकिन
रफ्तार ख़्यालों की कभी कम नहीं होती
इस शेर में ऊपर की पंक्ति में ‘अक्सर ये मेरा ज़ह्न’ में ‘‘ये ’’ शब्द शेर के वजन को पूरा करने के लिये जबरदस्ती भर्ती किया गया है। बगैर ‘‘ये’’ शब्द के भी शेर का भाव प्रकट होता है। अतः इसमें हश्व का दोष है। ऐसे शब्द को भर्ती का शब्द कहते हैं।
6. कभी - कभी शायर अपनी बात को शेर में स्पष्ट प्रकट करने में असमर्थ रहता है। शायर क्या कहना चाहता है शायर तो समझता है परन्तु सुनने वाला नहीं समझ पाता और शेर बेमानी होकर रह जाता है। अतःशेर में बात खुल कर आनी चाहिये।
जैसे - कितनी मेहनत से आपकी ख़ातिर
तोड़ लाये हैं आसमान से हम
शायर कहना चाहता है कि वह आसमान से आपके लिये तारे तोड़कर लाया है परन्तु यह बात हम और आप नहीं समझ पा रहे हैं यह तो केवल शायर ही जानता है। वह पहेलियाँ बुझा रहा है। अतः ऐसा शेर बेमानी है जिसका अर्थ न निकले।
7. शेर मे जिन शब्दों को बतौर क़ाफ़िया इस्तेमाल करते हैं उन षब्दों की कोई भी मात्रा या अक्षर बहर के मुताबिक भी नहीं गिरना चाहिये।
जैसे - सफर ये साँस का अब खत्म होने वाला है
जो जागता था मुसाफिर वो सोने वाला है
क्योंकि बहर मफाइलुन फइलातुन मफाइलुन फैलुन के अनुसार
यहाँ ‘‘होने’’ और ‘‘सोने’’ क़ाफ़िया है मगर ‘‘ होने’’ और ‘‘सोने’’ में अंतिम अक्षर ‘‘ने‘‘ का वजन गिराया गया है जो कि गलत है।
8.काफिया दो के होते हैं
शुद्व काफिया और योजित काफिया। शुद्व काफिया कलाम,गुलाम हवा, दवा रहम, करम आदि। योजित काफिया वे होते हैं जिनमें किसी शुद्व काफिये में कुछ अंश जोड़कर नया काफिया बना दिया जावे। जैसे ‘दोस्त’ और ‘दुश्मन’ में ‘ई’ जोड़कर दोस्ती और दुश्मनी कर दिया जावे। इसी प्रकार झुग्गी को झुग्गियाँ और कामगार को कामगारों कर दिया जावे तो ये योजित काफिये कहलाते हैं। बढ़ा हुआ अंश हटा देने पर बचा हुआ अंश हम काफिया नहीं है तो काफिया अशुद्ध हो जायेगा बशर्ते उनमें व्याकरण भेद न हो। जैसे - दफ्तरों से ओं हटा देने पर दफ्तर बचता है और झुग्गियों से यों हटा देने से झुग्गी शेष बचता है। अब दफ्तर और झुग्गी हम काफिया नहीं हैं तो दफ्तरों और झुग्गियों का काफिया बाँधना गलत होगा। लेकिन किसी क़ाफ़िये के अंतिम अक्षर या मात्रा को हटा देने पर यदि बचा हुआ शब्द निर्रथक हो जाता है तो वह शुद्ध क़ाफ़िया होगा। जैसे ‘ज़िन्दगी’ में ई की मात्रा हटा देने पर शब्द ज़िन्दग बचता है जिसके कोई मायने नही अर्थात शब्द निर्थक हो जाता अतः यह काफिया शुद्ध है और इसे काफिया के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है परन्तु ‘दोस्ती’ और दुश्मनी में ऐसा नहीं है। दोनो के अन्त के अक्षर अर्थात ई की मात्रा हटा देने पर दोनो के ही शाब्दिक अर्थ निकलते हैं इसलिये इनको काफिये के रूप में प्रयोग करना उर्दू शायरी के अनुसार वर्जित है। इस दोष को ‘‘हर्फे रवी’’ दोष कहते हैं परन्तु आजकल इस नियम के पालन में बहुत ध्यान नहीं दिया जाता।
9. कलाम सबकी ज़ुबाँ पर है लाकलाम तेरा।
सलाम करता है झुक कर तुझे गुलाम तेरा।
इस मतले के शेर में क़ाफ़िया ‘लाकलाम’ के साथ ‘ग़ुलाम’ बाँधा गया है। उर्दू शायरों के अनुसार आगे का क़ाफ़िया ‘सलाम’ अर्थात ऐसे शब्द का क़ाफ़िया होना चाहिये जिनके अंत में ‘लाम’ आये, अगर अन्त में दाम,शाम,काम आदि क़ाफ़िया बाँधा गया तो वह गलत होगा। इसी प्रकार सख़्त,तख़्त,रख़्त के क़ाफ़िये में मस्त,वक्त,जब्त क़ाफ़िये नहीं आ सकते क्योंकि सख़्त,तख़्त,रख़्त के आगे आने वाले वही शब्द क़ाफ़िये हो सकते हैं जिनके अन्त में ‘‘ख़्त’’ हो। अगर गलती से इस प्रकार का काफिया बाँधा गया तो यह हर्फे कैद दोष के अन्तर्गत आयेगा।
10. मत्ला और हुस्नेमत्ला को छोड़कर गजल के अन्य किसी भी शेर के ऊला मिसरा के अन्त में रदीफ या रदीफ के समस्वर शब्द नहीं आना चाहिये यदि ऐसा होता है तो यह दोष है और इसे ‘‘तकाबुले रदीफ’’ दोष कहेंगे।
जैसे - जो बातें ख़ास हैं साहब उन्हें सब आम कर देंगे
मेरे बेटे मुझे ही एक दिन नाक़ाम कर देंगे
सड़े गल्ला भले लेकिन गरीबों को नहीं देंगे
अगर देंगे कभी तो फिर कलेज़ा थाम कर देंगे
यहाँ पर मत्ला में आम,नाकाम,थाम क़ाफ़िया है और कर देंगे रदीफ है। दूसरे शेर में ऊला मिसरा अर्थात पहली पंक्ति के अन्त में ‘‘ देंगे’’ शब्द आया है जो कि रदीफ के सम स्वर ‘‘देंगे’’ से मिल रहा है अतः यह ‘‘तक़ाबुले रदीफ़’’ दोष है। इसी प्रकार -
हर दिन एक नये सपने की दे जाता है आस मुझे
किस मंजिल पर पहुँचायेगी मेरे मन की प्यास मुझे
जिनके मन सौ - सौ पापों के दल-दल में हैं लोट रहे
वे ही ज्ञानी ध्यानी बनकर देते हैं बनवास मुझे
उपरोक्त मत्ले में रदीफ़ ‘‘मुझे’’ है। दूसरे शेर के ऊला मिसरा के अन्त में ‘‘रहे’’ शब्द आता है और ‘‘रहे’’ शब्द के अन्त का स्वर ‘‘ए’’ ‘‘मुझे’’ रदीफ़ के अन्त के स्वर ’’ए‘‘ मिल रहा है अर्थात दोनों शब्द ‘‘रहे’’ और ‘‘मुझे’’ का अन्त समस्वर से है अतः यह दोष है और यह तक़ाबुले रदीफ़ दोष के अन्तर्गत आता है।
ग़ज़ल कहना बहुत सरल नहीं है। ग़ज़ल के येे नियम स्थूल नियम हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त भी ग़ज़ल में बहुत बारीकियाँ हैं। अच्छे अच्छे उस्ताद शायरों से भी चूक हो जाती है। ग़ज़ल सजगता के साथ नियमों का पालन करते हुये कहनी चाहिये।

दोस्तो बहुत दिन बाद आपसे चर्चा हो रही है। एक तरही मिसरा दे रहा हूँ। यह मेरी ग़ज़ल का मिसरा है। इसे मतले में न लें। बीच में किसी भी शेर में ले सकते हैं लेकिन इस मिसरे को इनवर्टेड कॉमा में लिखना जरूरी होता है जिससे यह पता चलता है कि यह तरही मिसरा है और किसी के शेर का है।
दूसरी बात किताब प्रकाशित होते समय इस शेर को हटाया जा सकता है लेकिन यह मिसरा अगर मतले में लिया गया तो मतला नहीं हटाया जा सकता है। इसलिए मतले में तरही मिसरा लेने की मनाही होती है।

आम की डाली
बचपन का एक क़िस्सा ज़ेहन में आते ही हमेशा हँसी आ जाती है। हमारे गाँव में तीन आम के बग़ीचे थे। ये बग़ीचे किसी एक के न होकर पूरे गाँव के लिए थे । इसलिए जब तूफ़ान आता , आम के कैरियां गिरते तो हम बच्चे सब बटोरने चले जाते । जब आम पकते तो बग़ीचे से छोटे - बड़े आम ,सिंदूरी, काली और जामुनी आम आते , हर एक पेड़ का अलग नाम था । बुआ की लड़की और मेरी दीदी पेड़ पे ऐसे चढ़ती कि बंदर को भी फेल कर दें।
एक सहेली के खेत में एक आम का पेड़ था जो बहुत मीठा था। कच्ची केरी भी इतना मीठा होती थी कि सब की नज़र उसी पेड़ पर रहती थी लेकिन किसी को तोड़ना मना था। उस घर के मालिक बड़े फूफा जी की नज़र उस पर जमी रहती थी कही कोई बच्चे आम न चुरा ले ।
एक दिन दीदी और मेरी बुआ की लड़की को आम चुराने की सूझी लंबी लकड़ी में हंसिया (दराती) बांधकर आम के तने से सटकर तोड़ने लगी ,अभी तो दो तीन ही तोड़ पाए थे कि बंधा हुआ रस्सी खुल गया तो हंसिया पेड़ के डाली पर ही अटका रह गया। यह वाक़्या शाम के वक़्त हुआ था जिसके चलते राज़ खुलने की संभावना अधिक थी। इसी डर से दोनों रात भर सोई ही नहीं। बड़े फूफाजी खूं ख़्वार टाइप के थे। उनका सामना करने में किसी की हिम्मत नहीं थी इसीलिए दोनों बहुत डरी हुई थी। मैं तो यह सोचकर ही भयभीत थी कि अब इनका क्या होगा। सुबह दोनों उठकर फिर खेत में पहुँच गई और उस हंसिया को पेड़ से नीचे गिराया। तभी फूफाजी के खाँसने की आवाज़ आई और वो लोग खेत के कोने से अपने आप को छुपाती हुई निकल गयीं । वो क़िस्सा अभी तक भी भुलाया नहीं जाता और जब उसका ज़िक्र होता है तो हँसी छूट जाती है।
मैं अधर का गीत बन कर गुनगुनाना चाहता हूँ

गर्मी थी तेज़ धूप थी रस्ते बबूल थे
चलना था, क्योंकि राह में कुछ आगे फूल थे
चलने से पहले रास्ते लगते थे पुरखतर
जब चल पड़े तो पैरों के कांटे कुबूल थे
आई समझ तो राज़ खुला जा के अब कहीं
छुप छुप के चाहने के वो किस्से फज़ूल थे
खुशियाँ बिखेरते हुए आते थे जो नज़र
अन्दर से उनके चेहरे भी कितने मलूल थे
इक वो कि कोई बात भी उनसे न निभ सकी

महल में क़दम रखते ही
खिल गया राजकुमार का मन
पुती हुई दीवारें
फ़ानूस फ़व्वारे !
महल क्या था !
नई नवेली दुल्हन
हाँ , राजकुमार की दुल्हन
ताज़ा महकते फूलों सी सजी
दुल्हन रह गयी ठगी की ठगी
मन्द मन्द शर्माती थी
होंठों में मुस्काती थी
मैदान को खुलती खिड़की खोली
दुल्हन झिझकी , दुल्हन बोली
" सुनिए प्राणों के दास
कैसी है ये बास ? "
और महल के उस पार
दूर तक फैली झोपड़ पट्टी
उनसे उठता काला धुआँ
दूर तक फैला मुर्दा सन्नाटा
चटकते सूखे बाँस
खिड़की से घुसता काला धुआं
राजकुमार ने रोक ली
अपनी साँस
और झट से कर दी खिड़की बंद
लेकिन फिर भी आती रही
बासी गंध
धुएं में लिपटी बासी गंध
मज़दूर कि रोटी कि बासी गंध
बेटियों के बदन कि बासी गंध
जलते गोश्त कि बासी गंध
टूटते जिस्मों की बासी गंध
राजकुमार ने जड़वा दिए
अपारदर्शी शीशे खिड़की में
लेकिन फिर भी आती ही रही बासी गंध
गंध कब रुकती है
आग की तरह , इसके भी पैर नहीं होते
लेकिन फिर भी चलती है
हवा में घुल जाती है गंध
और न चाहने पर भी
घुस जाती है नथनों में
लेकिन , लोग
रख लेते हैं मुँह पर रुमाल
और निकल जाते हैं दबे पाँव
गंध रह जाती है वहीँ की वहीँ
कही कोई आवाज़ नहीं उठती
किसी की भी आत्मा से
नहीं उठता संगीत
और बासी गंध रच - बस जाती है
चंद ज़िंदा लाशों की
साँसों में।

शब्द कोई भी प्रेम भरा ,
अब मुझ को ना लिखना तुम।
मेरे जलते ज़ख़्मों पे ,
अब मरहम ना रखना तुम ।
टूटा दिल उजड़ी बस्ती हूँ ,
गुजरा हुआ ज़माना हूँ ।
मुरझाए फूलों पे पसरा ,
गम का शामियाना हूँ ।
मैं टूटी हुई सी सरगम ,
गीत कोई न रचना तुम ।
मेरे जलते जख्मों......
अपने ज़िंदा ज़ख़्मों को हँस ,
आज कफ़न पहनाया है ।
बरसों से इस बोझिल मनको,
मुश्किल से समझाया है ।
बन्द खुली इन पलकों में,
स्वप्न कोई न बुनना तुम ।
मेरे जलते जख्मों......
इस सूने मरघट दिल में ना ,
कोई ख़्वाब मुस्काएगा ।
चन्दन भी जहरीले सर्पों ,
जैसी अगन लगाएगा ।
मिले अगर जो किसी मोड़ पे,
मिलकर भी न मिलना तुम ।

उन नयनों में जा बसता हूँ
टूट जाउं पर सदा अमर हूँ
मैं सपनो का सौदागर हूँ
बिन सपनो के रात अधूरी
बिन अपनों के बात अधूरी
जीवन ऐसा खेल है जिसमें
बिन ख़ुद हारे मात अधूरी
मैं नाजुक शीशे सा घर हूँ
मैं सपनो का सौदागर हूँ
गीत उसी के मन गाएगा
दर्द जो दिल को दे जाएगा
गहरी नींद सुला मुझको दे
वो सपना अब कब आएगा
आउँ नित नए सपनें लेकर
मैं सपनो का सौदागर हूँ
चाहें तो ऐसे भी कर सकते हैं नहीं तो तीसरे अंतरे की पंक्ति मैं --
"गहरी नींद सुला मुझको दे
वो सपना अब कब आएगा " ऐसा करने से मात्राभार सही हो जाऐगा

मानव नर का रक्त पिएगा , आख़िर कब तक ?
नर ही नर का ज़ुल्म सहेगा, आख़िर कब तक ?
भ्रष्टाचारी सर्प डसेगा , आख़िर कब तक ?
मज़दूरों का ख़ून बहेगा , आख़िर कब तक ?
कब तक होता युहीं रहेगा , क़त्ल यहाँ पे...?
दशासनी अभिमान हँसेगा , आख़िर कब तक ?
मानव नर का .........
दहशत का सामान बनेगा ,आख़िर कब तक ?
सिक्कों में ईमान बिकेगा आख़िर कब तक ?
हैवानियत का कब तक युहीं , नाच नचेगा...?
बारुद बन नर युहीं मरेगा आख़िर कब तक ?
नर ही नर का रक्त ..........
सच का झूठा ढोल बजेगा आख़िर कब तक ?
चौपट जी का राज चलेगा आख़िर कब तक ?
कब तक होता युहीं रहेगा पतन यहाँ पे ?

एक उदास शाम का सूनापन
रात भर दस्ता ही रहा
क़तरा क़तरा दर्द
आँख के समुन्दर से
टपकता ही रहा ,
अब जाने कब मुक्त हो
यह आत्मा , यह देह
जाने कब मिले मन को
अँजुरी भर स्नेह
एक टुकड़ा ख़ुश्बू की तलाश में ही
कट जाती है उम्र यहाँ
सदियों के समर्पण के बाद भी
मिल जाये अँजुरी भर स्नेह
नसीब ही है यहाँ।

According to Indian philosophy woman is SHAKTI . Woman is mother who is not only creator but also the path to eternal joy . From the heart of Bihar, women are creating change—without waiting for permission.
Veena Devi, the founder of UMMI, never had formal education, but she deeply understands what education means for a woman. It is this wisdom that drives her to organize these grassroot activities—from children’s competitions to cultural learning—to ensure that the next generation, especially girls, grows up with confidence, courage, and voice. No society can progress until we learn to value and respect women .
This is not charity. This is dignity.
This is not welfare. This is leadership—built from ground level.
This is Umran. Undoubtedly Umran is working on a great task by promoting women and their talents .

Voices, Verses, and Visions
Literature is the mirror of society . Umran recently organised an evening of voices, verses, and visions — celebrating women’s stories, creative expression, and solidarity across borders. On this occasion a brief introduction of UMMI was presented. Poets , scholars and storytellers presented their poems , stories and papers. UMMI introduced the U-Talk Magazine Editorial & Advisory Board! The presence of Prof. miriam cooke | Prof. Bruce B. Lawrence , Prof. Naseem Shafaie | Prof. Nandini Sahu and Rajeev Kumar , Director of UMRAN made the meeting highly valuable. Umran offered it's gratitude to all the poets , writers and scholars.

Umran Children's Talent Competition ✨
Rightly William Wordsworth said , ' Child is the Father of Man ' . Recently , on the occasion of Eid, Umran Mahila Manch and SLY Library organized the Umran Bal Pratibha Pratiyogita, in which children from classes 1 to 9 participated with great enthusiasm.
The competition showcased children's talents across subjects like General Knowledge, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Art, and Creativity.
👉 Children were honored with certificates, notebooks, slates, chalks, pens, biscuits, sweets, chocolates, and school bags.
The event was graced by the presence of Veena Devi (President, Umran Mahila Manch), Rita Devi (Vice-President), Priyanka Chaurasiya (Secretary), and members of the judging panel: Mukesh Kumar (Principal, National Public School) and R. Sachin Kumar (CEO, Webultrasolution).
🌿 This initiative, filled with celebration, connection, and awareness, aimed to inspire children and women toward equality, empathy, and empowerment.

उमरान बाल प्रतिभा प्रतियोगिता ✨
ईद के मौके पर उमरान महिला मंच और एसएलवाई पुस्तकालय द्वारा आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा 1 से 9 तक के बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
प्रतियोगिता में सामान्य ज्ञान, लेखन, गणित, विज्ञान, कला और रचनात्मकता जैसे विषयों पर बच्चों ने अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाई।
👉 बच्चों को सर्टिफिकेट, कॉपी, स्लेट, चॉक, पेन, बिस्किट, मिठाई, चॉकलेट और बैग देकर सम्मानित किया गया।
इस कार्यक्रम में उमरान महिला मंच की अध्यक्षा वीणा देवी, उपाध्यक्ष रीता देवी, सचिव प्रियंका चौरसिया,
