 MY BLUE GODDESS

You happened to me like the mysterious blue

of the Mediterranean Sea.

I see different shades and tones

of the unconventional blue

in the way our relationship

is going from one level to another,

breaking all barriers and boundaries.

When you speak to me, baring your heart inside out,

your voice resonates within me like ultramarine blue.

Your laughter is so much of Prussian blue,

your wit and humour are so, so cerulean.

Your passion for poetry is all indigo,

your integrity and truth

carry shades of lapis lazuli,

your commitment is all of aquamarine.

My blue goddess,

you are as elusive as the colour blue.

From a distance, you seem deep blue,

but one day, someday,

when you come close

so very close

that I can hold you in my gaze,

when I can feel your breath in my breath,

I will paint my canvas

with all the hues of your blue.

One day, someday,

when you come to me, my blue goddess,

I will create my masterpiece.
