Cycle
Still today,
I haven't forgotten that day
When for the first time
I rode a bicycle
Starting with wobbly steps
Pushing pedals with effort
Bracing falls with resilience
Turning on empty streets
To the rhythm of the bicycle bell
Heart felt like a garden in bloom
With the wheels of the bicycle
Spinning faster with speed
Heartbeats quickening
With excitement
Today, racing at 120 kilometers per hour
In a car,
But I don't feel
Any Thrill,
And alas,
Now I don't ride
A bicycle anymore
Just watching cyclists pass by
Fills me with longing
And I remember
The thrill of the past.
